Christian Meditation sessions, conducted in the Church Room by Jean Wong, a Spiritual Director and Birgit Duncan. Both are trained leaders of WCCM (World Community of Christian Meditation). The group gatherings consist of a short reading, 30 minutes of silent meditation, followed by a short period of sharing and listening. The sessions cater to both novice and experienced meditation practitioners, with guidance provided when required. The sessions follow the practice of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, and Christian monks, John Cassian and Benedictine John Main.

We are reading, reflecting and discussing Galatians this term. The sessions start with prayer, a short interpretation given by one of our leaders, reading followed by facilitated group discussions of key wonderings and insights. The sessions concludes with a Lectio Divina of a small passage to consolidate reflection and contemplation on the message of the session.
Your are welcome to join at any time. Short summaries of each session are also available on request
