Come join us!
We value our parish community, as we care for each other and work together to share God's love with the people of Hornsey. We have many groups that meet regularly, and some that meet occasionally on an ad-hoc basis. Below we provide information about our groups and activities, and here is a list of current upcoming special events:
Friday, 10th April
6pm: Mthr. Clemency's Farewell Mass and Party! Do come help us celebrate Mthr. Clemency's time with us and send her off in style!
Monday, 13th April
2pm: The Mother's Union will have a flower arranging session in the parish room---please bring your own flowers!
Wednesday, 15th April
We are now returning to having Wednesdays as the primary day when we gather for worship and social time.
10am: Contemplative Prayer
11am: Midweek Eucharist, followed by coffee
12pm: Welcoming Wednesday Lunch
Mondays, 13th April and 11th May
Second and third meetings of Julian Book Group. We are reading The Showings of Julian of Norwich translated by Mirabai Starr (though any translation will do!). Please read Part 2 for the second meeting (April), and Part 3 for the third meeting (May). All the meetings will start at 7 with some soup and then we’ll discuss the text from 7.30-8.30. Meetings will take place at Holy Innocents Vicarage, 99 Hillfield Avenue, N8 7DG.
Wednesday, 6th May
Mthr. Clemency will be licensed as the Associate Vicar of St. Cuthbert's and Emmanuel, West Hampstead at 7pm. Do come join us as we support and encourage her in her new ministry!
Sunday, 24th May--Pentecost and Confirmations!
The Rt. Rev. Jeremiah Anderson, Bishop of Edmonton, will be visiting to confirm
Sunday, 31st May
After the morning service we will have our APCM. Do come join us!
FURTHER AHEAD: DR. PAULA GOODER IS COMING!
On the evening of 3rd June we will host a Deanery Synod at which the speaker will be the very distinguished theologian and New Testament scholar Paula Gooder, who is Canon Chancellor at St. Paul's Cathedral. More details to come, but save the date!
